COMMUNITY PLANNING PROGRAM

INCOG continues to provide staff support to local governments, planning commissions, and boards of adjustment in administering their respective planning programs, capital improvement programs, drafting and updating comprehensive plans, preparing zoning, subdivision and other development regulations. 

INCOG conducts special studies such as zoning code amendments, subdivision regulation updates, comprehensive plan updates, capital improvement plans (CIPs), special district studies, park plans and annexation studies for member governments as requested. INCOG is currently developing comprehensive plans for both Tulsa County and the City of Coweta.

INCOG also supports a network for community planners within which planning related information is formally and informally exchanged.
