OVERVIEW
INCOG provides management assistance to local governments related to the development of financial strategies for public infrastructure improvements. These strategies include the development and submittal of applications for loans and grants to a wide variety of governmental agencies and other funding sources.
INCOG staff administers Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs on behalf of the Tulsa County Urban County Program and member counties and municipalities.
Focusing on elderly and affordable housing, INCOG directs the Tulsa County HOME Consortium on behalf of the 24 participating local governments.
INCOG works with local governments and chambers of commerce to enhance economic development. INCOG is designated by the federal Economic Development Administration as an Economic Development District comprised of Creek, Osage, and Tulsa counties. INCOG also administers the Rural Economic Action Program (REAP) and other economic programs targeting small communities.
