2015 Coordinated Transportation Plan

The Tulsa Region Coordinated Transportation Plan is developed under MAP-21 and was endorsed and adopted in January 2015. INCOG is now the designated recipient for Section 5310, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program, for the Tulsa Region.

For distribution of any funds under Section 5310, projects selected have to be included in the Coordinated Plan. This plan specifically focuses on the transportation needs of elderly and people with disabilities.

The Coordinated Transportation Plan originally developed in 2007 was updated and endorsed by the Regional Council on Coordinated Transportation (RCCT) in January 2015 in accordance with federal requirements. The Coordinated Transportation Plan for the Tulsa region includes the five-county TMA region, comprising Tulsa, Creek, Osage, Rogers, and Wagoner counties.

Regional Council for
Coordinated Transportation (RCCT)

The Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan endorses the creation of a Regional Council for Coordinated Transportation (RCCT) to oversee the implementation and further promotion of the plan in the Tulsa Transportation Management Area (TMA). The RCCT is composed of representatives from human service organizations, local governments, public and private transit providers, and non-profit and government organizations that provide services and advocacy for low income individuals, persons with disabilities, and elderly individuals.

Transportation Provider Inventory

Does your agency provide transportation services or assistance?
If you are a transportation provider or provide assistance for clients/members/residents to gain transportation, please take a moment to fill out our provider survey. This information will aid INCOG in updating the transportation provider inventory to be included in the Coordinated Transportation Plan and creating a directory where providers can collaborate on services and citizens can find valuable information to meet their needs.

In order to advance coordinated transportation and inform residents of available transportation options, a directory of transportation services will be compiled and made available to the public. Even if your organization only provides bus tokens/ride passes or services for specific populations we still need to hear from you! Agencies that respond will be included in future mailings regarding Section 5310 funding opportunities.
