3.  Transportation Alternatives Program Projects Status Update

INCOG and ODOT working together with local governments to advance and implement projects related to the transportation alternatives program.  Staff will provide an update on status of projects that are previously funded.

 

4.  Nationwide Household Travel Survey (NHTS) Data Presentation

INCOG has participated in the NHTS with an add-on sample purchase.  The survey was completed in 2017.  An on-line tool and INCOG regional specific data will be shared with the Committee related to the trip distribution, trip patterns and modeshares specific to the Tulsa Region.

 

5. Access Management Research and Presentation

INCOG is assisting City of Tulsa with researching Access Management guidelines.  While the project is in the preliminary status, staff will provide briefing related to best practices in Access Management that other public agencies can better utilize in order to improve safety for all travelers. 

 

6. Addressing Food Desert Access in Tulsa

INCOG is one of ten agencies in the Nation to secure planning funds from a Federal grant to study and stratgize through innovation to provide better access to residents living in Food Deserts.  Staff will provide an update to the study that is nearing completion that provides a launching point for an innovative pilot project.
