Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendments pdf A. INCOG has submitted
an Administrative Modification to the project related to the Gilcrease
Expressway, as requested by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to
revise the amount of funding for the project from TIFIA (Transportation
Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act) source. The project scope has not changed from the
time it was included in the FFY 2020 TIP.
The projected federal funds are now revised to $120,644,732. B. INCOG is seeking to
amend the FFY 2020 TIP to include ten projects from eight sub-recipients for the
FTA Section 5310 program. INCOG administers the Federal Transit
Administration (Section 5310) Program for the Tulsa Transportation Management
Area. The Program is aimed at
transportation for elderly and disabled. Sub-recipients funded include: City
of Tulsa, KiBois Transit, Cimarron Transit, A New
Leaf, Inc., Morton Comprehensive Health Services, Life Senior Services,
Rogers County Elder Daycare Center and the Veterans Ride Connect administered
by INCOG. Listing of projects with descriptions and funding is attached. C. INCOG is seeking to
amend the FFY 2020 TIP to include four projects utilizing the Oklahoma
Department of Transportation Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality funding
for the Tulsa Transportation Management Area. Projects funded include: Public
Fleet Alternative Fuels and Idle Reduction Program, Bus/shuttle Service for
Targeted Areas, Ozone Alert! and Active Transportation Marketing and Tulsa
Bike Share, Inc. Listing of projects with descriptions along with funding is
attached. 4. INCOG
Bicycle/Pedestrian “GO” Plan Amendments INCOG
Staff will discuss proposed amendments to the regional bicycle/pedestrian
plan, the ‘GO Plan’. Staff will go
over the process for seeking the amendments along with the listing that is
received from various communities. |
5. Pedestrian and
Bicycle Safety Campaign “Travel With Care” Update INCOG
Staff has been collaboratively working with “Walk Bike Tulsa,” “Bike Tulsa,”
“Humble Sons,” “Bike Club,” “Bike Tulsa,” and “This Machine” to educate and promote
bike and pedestrian safety utilizing the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office Grant
funding. Staff will brief the
committee on the efforts. 6.
