The update of the Sapulpa Comprehensive Plan officially started on August 2, 2010 by the Sapulpa City Council’s approval of the attached Scope of Services/Agreement with INCOG and the approval on September 20, 2010 of the attached Inter-Cooperative Agreement between Creek County and the City of Sapulpa. The updated plan will be called “Connecting to the Future Sapulpa Comprehensive Plan” (The Plan), and will be the land use planning policy guide for public and private officials until the year 2030. The true success of this planning process will be measured by the active and informed participation of the Sapulpa citizenry and stakeholders in the task forces, public forums and ultimately public hearings before the Sapulpa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and Sapulpa City Council that will result in Connecting to the Future Sapulpa Comprehensive Plan.

This webpage and online Questionnaire and Survey is also an opportunity for you to participate in the Planning Process and share your questions and comments online; however, it is not meant to be a substitute for your attendance at the public meetings that will take place – please do both in the best interest of our City and its future development.

Thank you in advance for lending your time and thoughts to the preparation and approval of Connecting to the future Sapulpa Comprehensive Plan – a template for the City of Sapulpa to connect to the future in order to develop and grow by from now until the year 2030.
